Honey Lake Mini Aussie's

Breeding to improve the Miniature Australian Shepherd

About us

We both grew up in Santa Ynez Valley California and now reside in North Eastern California, where we are blessed with a 5 acre farm.  We have been married since 1997 and have enjoyed the journeys and experiences we have been through together, which includes having two beautiful children of whom we love so much.  Seth is a firefighter and is the Battalion Chief for the Lake Almanor District.  Lindsay has been involved with animals her whole life, having a Veterinarian for a step father and a mother who has been a successful dog breeder for many years and involved with endless animal rescues.  Growing up we had many shepherds, Collie, Standard Aussie and also a Mini Aussie rescue, his name was RIP because we didn’t think he was going to make it when he arrived, fortunately RIP did make it and ended up being one of our greatest dogs.  The Mini Aussie is one of the most intelligent, loyal dogs you will ever encounter, not only are they a clean, neat and tidy dog, but they are so loving and willing to please.  Our Mini Aussie’s are wonderful dogs to which we enjoy everyday.  Even though our dogs are used for breeding, they are such a wonderful versatile breed that we can take them with us when we go to the lake, for a family hike, or play fetch out in the yard.  They are a small enough dog to carry or put in the car and yet enough protection to keep in the house at night to feel safe.  We have found the perfect family dog and we would like to share the joy with you!
